Kate has extensive experience launching and growing businesses in the cannabis and technology sectors. Prior to her entrepreneurial ventures Kate was a consultant at McKinsey & Company, and a law clerk to Justice Rosalie Abella at the Supreme Court of Canada.  Kate holds degrees in Chemical Engineering and Law.

David has a strong medical technology background focused on nuclear medicine and pharmaceutical development. He has developed clinical cancer imaging technology (CGMP certified) that led to the development of a molecular breast imaging camera. He also has development experience in medical wearable sensors. David holds a degree in Economics.

Roman has over 25 years of diverse product development, manufacturing, regulatory and business experience in the biotechnology industry. He is experienced in directing R&D programs for technology and product development which have led to multiple patent filings, regulatory approval and commercialization of numerous diagnostic products. Roman has a PhD in Molecular Biology and did a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Pharmacology.

Frank provides senior executive focus on go-to-market strategy in order to shorten and optimize the path to revenue with particular expertise around start-up and early-stage companies. Most recently he was VP IP GTM for ConvergeOne, and prior to that role he was EVP and Chief Customer Officer at Altivion (Acquired by C1 in August 2020). Frank has spent his career helping companies evolve their customer facing operations.

Tomas has over 20 years of experience in electronic design, providing solutions to electronic product development challenges across a wide variety of industries. He holds a Masters in Electrical and Biomedical Engineering with an emphasis on application and embedded programming, and biomedical image processing.

Vaughn completed a dual degree in marketing at the University of Toronto and has 7+ years of experience in the creative field. His skillset is geared towards working with emerging technologies through which he has seen dozens of projects through from conception to completion both in the independant and corporate sphere.

Blaine is currently Chairman of the Whitecap IV Investment Committee and Partner in Fund III. Blaine is an experienced operator, manager, and investor with more than 30 years of experience successfully starting, building and running companies.  As a Partner in Whitecap I, II & III, Blaine has had active involvement in a multitude of successful companies in telecom, software, medical tech, advanced photonics, and food tech.Blaine is active in the community, including his involvement with the Steps Foundation and Hospice King.

Ian has more than twenty years of experience in the global high technology industry, including international sales and marketing. Ian is a Venture Partner with The Entrepreneur’s Fund IV, in San Mateo, CA and is on the advisory Boards of Prophix and SalesChoice. Ian has a unique perspective in the Canadian technology industry from his experience in Silicon Valley. Ian uses his international network to help Canadian companies develop and prosper.

Brian is an entrepreneurial senior executive who has successfully launched, grown, acquired, integrated and sold businesses, both private and public, in a variety of sectors including technology, finance, real estate and automotive. He is a strong leader focused on attracting and building high performance teams. Brian has extensive experience in all facets of business, and particularly in strategy, business development, operational effectiveness and M&A transactions.

Alex brings 18+ years in operating and working in enterprise software and SaaS.  Over the last 12 years, Alex dedicated his career to  strengthening public safety and national security, first in his capacity as co-founder & CEO of SceneDoc  (acquired by Tyler Technologies). More recently, as VP & Managing Director at ANDE Corporation, a high growth company whose mission it is to build a safer world  through the use of Rapid DNA technology.

Peter is the CEO of Britannia Life Sciences. He previously founded and grew Redwood Asset Management until it was ultimately sold to Purpose Investments. As an early investor in the Canadian cannabis market, Peter was involved in the conception of the Medical Cannabis and Wellness ETF that is listed on the LSE under CBDX. He has served on multiple boards of directors for both private and public companies.​

Noel is the Senior Vice President - Global Head of Digital Products at AMS. A veteran of business development and out-of-the-box thinking. Noel has been a leader in his roles over the years for several companies, including Karen HR, Bam Digital, Quikmint, SpeakFeel, Agnition and Ctrade Inc. Noel brings e3xperience in AI-enabled startups, and has been a strategic advisor for high-Profile clients helping them to build a product driven approach to business.
